Coach of Nigeria’s team to the 2012 London Olympic Games, Ayo Bakare has put to rest speculations over his job as coach of the senior male team, D’Tigers.

There have been rumours that the former Ebun Comets coach has resigned his appointment as coach of the team after D’Tigers failed to advance to the second round of the 2012 Olympic Games, losing to Lithuania, France, Argentina and USA in their group games.

Speaking on brilafm early today, coach Bakare said  although he has not given his employers, the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF, his resignation letter yet, he is not thinking of coaching D’Tigers again.

He said: “As coach of the D’Tigers, I want to believe I am through with my job as I have fulfilled the contract I had with the NBBF. I am aware that the federation is looking for someone else for the job.”
