Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Donates Patrol Vans To Police
The Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, Shakiru Adisa, has donated two utility patrol vans to Ayobo and Ipaja Police divisions to help provide security in the area.
The presentation ceremony which was held at the council secretariat, was attended by the two DPOs in the area, traditional rulers, security operatives, council staffs among others.
While presenting the patrol vans, Shakir stated that they would enable the police respond quickly to emergencies, urging residents to be security conscious and always watch out for suspicious characters in their environment.
“We are presenting this patrol vans to the police to boost their ability in crime control most especially in this ember months. We want them to be patrolling this LCDA 24 hours in a day and seven days a week.
“I have absolute confidence that this donation will go along way to assist the police in protecting the lives and properties of the residents of this area,” he said.
He urged the residents of the council area to pay their rates and levies to the local government promptly.
