HYESHA: My Best Yet To Come
Alaya Aisha, aka Hyesha, who performed at this year’s Felabration, has declared that her best is yet to come.

Hyesha performed her hit single, Spend The Money, and earned a thunderous applause at Felabration, the biggest stage on which she has performed so far. “Felabration was a big platform for me. The fans liked what I did on stage and I have been getting more attention than before. I know that my best is yet to come,” she said.
The 400-level undergraduate of French at the University of Lagos has eight singles with Spend The Money and Gigolo her leading songs. She believes that her music career is going to the next level. Hyesha began singing at Ansar-ud-Deen Secondary School, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. She began doing back-up for a group, Rocks and Kaino, but never had the ambition to be a professional singer. Why the change of heart? “When the producer told me to try singing, I told him that I could only mime, but he encouraged me further telling me to write my first song, Forgive Me, which he produced for me,” she explained.
With her single, Gigolo, released in March, Hyesha is looking forward to a busy end to the year. Currently, she is working on a single and is expected to perform at shows next month.
