‘Oyin Adejobi’s Estate Desolate’

Bola Oyin Adejobi, the musician son of the late stage actor and musician, Oyin Adejobi, has revealed that his father’s estate in Oshogbo is in a decrepit state. Bola, a Computer Science graduate and 11th child of the actor, said: “We, the children, are planning to pull it down and rebuild the whole estate very soon. Arrangements are also in top gear to immortalise him via the establishment of a foundation in his memory.”

Bola, who described his brand of music as GASKIA (Gospel Alujo Special Kikida Ijo Ayo), also dsiclosed that he will go into acting as a way of safeguarding his father’s legacy. He added that some of his father’s greatest works like Kootu Asipa and Ile Iwosan remain in the possession of NTA, Ibadan, while three films, Orogun Adedigba, Ekuro Oloja and Kuye are  with TJ Olaoluwa Films.
