A ping ponger in the Ogun State camp, Sola Oyekanmi, has carpeted the Local Organising Committee, LOC, of the ongoing Eko 2012 Games, saying that the welfare of athletes is nothing to write home about.

The Ogun State medal prospect, who featured at the Garden City Games held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, said that the welfare of the athletes is below par in comparison to what happened in Port Harcourt.

“My grouse about this games is that the LOC has failed to meet up with our expectations as far as the welfare the athletes is concerned. I had my own expectations as regards the welfare prior to the games, but it is sad that the LOC has not met up with them,” said Oyekanmi.
