AJC Qualifier: Eagles‘ll Shock Mali In Bamako-Garba

Chief Coach of the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, Manu Garba has said that his team would shock their Malian opponents in the last match of the qualifying series for the Africa Junior Championship, AJC scheduled for Bamako on Sunday.

The Eaglets would go into the clash with two goals advantage from the first leg played at the U.J Esuene, Stadium, Calabar, Cross River State.

Garba, who was an assistant coach, when the Eagles won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in South Korea in 2007, believes that his team have what it takes to win the clash and qualify for the Morocco 2013 AJC, saying, “Though we are leading with two goals from the first leg, we will not fold our arms as we plan to attack just like we did to Guinea and Niger Republic.”

Eaglets, who have not lost a game in the qualifiers, have the highest number of goals in the series. Nigeria missed out from the last two editions of the tourney and would leave nothing to chance to make a return next year.
