As Music Advertisers Asssociation of Nigeria, MAAN, go to the polls, fuji stars, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Shefiu Alao, Saheed Osupa and other top musicians have supported the second term bid of the incumbent President, of Alhaji Waheed Oyediran (aka Mosebolatan).
Their endorsement is contained in a live audio recording currently in circulation. Titled 4by4, Mose For Second Term, the recording is an ode to the MAAN.
The election is scheduled for 4 December at the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria Guest House, Oshogbo, Osun State.
The presidency, according to findings, is the only office that will be contested for. The contest will be among Mosebolatan, Waheed Oyediran and S.F. Alwajuud. Candidates for other positions will return unopposed.
Each of the 10 states partcipating in the election will send five delegates. The states are Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Kwara, Ondo, Rivers, Edo, Kaduna, Ekiti and Osun States.
