After impressive audition outings in Abuja, Port-Harcourt, Owerri, Benin, and Lagos, all is set for the nation-wide broadcast of Season Three of Nigerian Idol which will be aired on local TV stations on 16 December.

Contestants who made it through the different audition stages in the country will all have the opportunity to compete on the Idol stage for a chance to be crowned the voice of tomorrow.

Modupe Thani, Head, Events and Sponsorships, Etisalat Nigeria, said the waiting had finally come to an end as Nigerians will get to see the high points of the all the auditions and witness an array of music talents throughout the duration of the show.

This year’s competition has on-board Afro-beat legend, Femi Kuti as one of the judges alongside Yinka Davies and Jeffery Daniels with Ill Rhymz as host.

Total prize for Season Three winner is N20million: N 7.5million cash, N7.5million recording contract and a brand new SUV. The first runner-up will be presented with N1.5million and a saloon car which will be presented by Etisalat.
