Cynthia Osokogu: Suspects To Be Arraigned At High Court Soon
The Lagos State Government has said that all suspects found culpable in the murder of Cynthia Osokogu Udoka will be charged before a Lagos High Court soon.

The State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ade Ipaye who gave this assurance also shed light on the culpability of the seven suspects in the murder of Cynthia.
Although two pharmacists among the suspects, Orji Osita and Maduakor Chukwunonso were initially set free by the court, one of them was re-arreasted based on a new advice of the DPP.
Mr. Ade Ipaye said that new facts available showed that one of the pharmacist was culpable in the death of Cynthia.
“The pharmacist that was released was the one that sold the drug and not the pharmacist that persuaded the other to sell the drug used on the deceased”, he said.
Ipaye said that all those found culpable would be arraigned before the court and that the charges against each of them would be determined by the level of their culpability.
He cited the cases of those involved in the sale of Cynthia’s phone as those whose charges may be different from those found to be actively involved in her death.
The Commissioner for Justice said that the DPP has given its advice on the matter and that they would be arraigned soon.
On the case of a commercial driver who was alleged to have attempted to kill a judge, Mr. Ipaye said the suspect will also be charged before a Lagos High Court soon.
He said that the DPP has also given its advice on the matter and that the suspect will faced the court soon.
