Ten top designers and 10 top artistes will light up the stage with their designs and music at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on 24 December as the second edition of Music Meets Runway (MMR) will hold.
“This year’s edition of the MMR will be bigger judging by the events lined up. We are raising the bar with this edition, having 10 designers and 10 artistes is a deliberate move,” said Jennifer Olize, daughter of ace NTA broadcaster, Frank Olize and CEO of Le Reve Events, brain behind the event.
The MMR is increasingly becoming a veritable platform where up and coming acts can be discovered. One of the superstars of the year, Davido was first discovered on the stage of the maiden MMR last year.
“MMR is also creating a platform that effortlessly allows music and fashion runway to ‘mingle’ in order to create a genial atmosphere for lovers of fashion designs and music to relate,” Olize said.
