Davina Partners M-Famous

Musician, Davina P. Achena, has gone into partnership with Maria Mojiade, Chief Executive Officer of M-Famous, publishers of many award magazines, to organize the first ever jewelry award in Nigeria, Famous Jewelleries Award 2013.

Speaking with Entertainment Cafe at the end of the three-week exhibition organized by M-famous, Davina, who is also planning collaborate with Iyabo Ojo for her (Ojo’s) Pinky Foundation, said she came across M-Famous when she featured in one of her beads catalogue.

“I actually met with M-Famous when I appeared on one of her beads catalogue. It was then we started working together. We want to do this award, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria, simply because we have seen the work of Nigerians when it comes to craft and arts. We have seen that Nigerians are so talented. We have produced jewelry of international standard. Just like me I have clients in UK, America, Ivory Coast, Ghana and so many other countries,” said Davina.

Davina also stressed that besides music, bead making is her other profession.
