Former World number 14, Eleni Daniilidou has been granted a wild card for the ASB Classic Tennis Tournament in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Auckland event is the first event of the WTA season in 2013. The Greek player is a former two-time champion at the event, having won it in 2003 and 2004.
Daniilidou is currently ranked number 100 in the WTA rankings.
The event boasts of six top 30 players in the draw and World number four; Agnieszka Radwanska will be the top seed, while 15-year-old Kiwi junior Paige Hourigan will likely receive a wildcard into the qualifying draw.
