Late Governor Yakowa’s Brother Dies At 60

Adamu Yakowa, the younger brother to the late governor of Nigeria’s north western state of Kaduna, Patrick Yakowa, is dead.

Sources said he died Saturday at Kafanchan.

The cause of his demise could not be immediately ascertained.

Reacting to the sad news, Kaduna state governor and the Patrick Yakowa’s successor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, sympathised with the family of the deceased and prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Patrick Yakowa died 15 December last year. He was aged 64.
