Koilo Street won the last edition of the Lagos Street Soccer, after defeating Jimo Ajao Street from Ikotun 1-0 in the final played at the Campos Sports Centre, Lagos Island.

That was aside the prize money given to the three finalists.

However, captain of Koilo Street, Jinadu Adio praised the sponsor, and the Lagos State Government for giving them the opportunity to visit the Dubai.

He said: “From the beginning of Season five, it was obvious that the organisers as well as MTN meant well for the players with series of innovation introduced to the championship.

“The players and participating teams were educated on the new rules of the game, while the competition was also void of controversies, which most times marred previous editions. We were given the cash prizes in good time. The trip to Dubai is one opportunity that I will remember forever because we were taken to the right place, where we were tutored under the watchful eyes of qualified coaches,” Adio said.
