A Wish Goes On DVD

Barely seven weeks from the date of its premiere, A Wish, the comedy by Elvis Chuks’ Diamond Groove Pictures, has been released in DVD format.

Featuring Funke Akindele, Bishop Imeh Umoh, Patience Ozokwo, Hafiz Oyetoro, and Helen Paul (Tatafo), the movie was released on 21 January. It centres around a single mother who is a petty trader with no opportunity of education but had one wish: to see her child go to school and explore the opportunities she never had. But fate struck as she finds out she has a few years to live after been as having cancer. Yet she had to struggle to achieve her dreams against all odds.

The comedy flick was released early on DVD so as to sustain viewers’ attention on the smaller screen.
