The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Prince Ifeanyi Dike, is set to participate actively in the country’s politics, especially in the forthcoming 2015 general elections.
He is expected to contest on the platform of the Great Nigeria Democratic Party (GNDP).
Dike, who is currently in India, disclosed to P.M.NEWS Nollywood Reel that he will be back in Nigeria soon for the party’s campaign.
“Nigeria must be great again, and that is what we stand for. I’m coming back to give Nigerians the desired change,” he said.
Dike, who has been in India since he had a kidney transplant there, said for now, GNDP will concentrate more on local council and governorship elections. “Later, we will be contesting the presidential seat with other parties.”
Apart from overseeing the activities of AGN, Dike is involved in a couple of businesses and projects which include the Traders Cup, an annual football competition among traders in Nigeria.
