Administrator of Kith & Kin Educational Schools, Jonathan Adewale Adeoye, has tasked school owners to give priority to sports to enable their pupils discover their God- given talents.
Adeoye said at the 6th biennial Inter House Sports competition of the schools which was held on Tuesday at the University of Lagos Sports Complex, Yaba.
Adeoye said it is sad today that many school proprietors and proprietress don’t organize inter house sports.
“It is necessary for schools to organize inter house sports annually so that their students will be physically and mentally fit. At Kith & Kin Educational Schools, we have been organizing inter house sports in the last six years and we are happy that our students are improving in their performance,” he said.
Chief Learning Officer of the schools, Kaoli Olusanya, said he was impressed with the performance of the students and charged them to remain focus in their educational career.
“My advice for the children is to take their education serious and remain focus. I want to urge their parents to allow their wards engage in sporting activities in order to prepare them for future challenge,” he said.
