In furtherance of its social intervention policy, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has moved a notch in executing its planned multi-billion naira project in favour of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Akoka.

The apex bank, headed by Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, in the next four years is expected to construct a link road, multi-storey faculty building and ultra-modern hostel in the institution.

The determination by the top bank to deliver on its promise is not in doubt, following a top level meeting between its officials and the Unilag authorities last month.
