Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt General Manager Dumbo Awanen says the club is ready for the 2012/2013 football season.
The season starts on 9 March, and Dolphins will play away against Akwa United of Uyo at Uyo Stadium.
Awanen told sportswriters in Port Harcourt that the club had done enough preparations and pre-season build up.
“I am personally happy with the pre-season preparations of the club and I know we are ready for the season.
He said the team were in Nnewi where they had pre-season camping, and Lagos where they played in a tournament with amateur teams.
Awanen added that it then went to Aba to play against Enyimba.
“I believe we have done enough to be ready for the League,” he said.
The manager also said the club recruited top quality players for the season.
“I am also happy with the quality of players we have signed on this season and when you watch them train and play you see the determination for them to excel in the season.
“I believe we will finish among the top four in the League by the end of the season,’’ he said.
