Emem Isong, Oge Okoye, Others At Premiere Of Mistresses

It was a gathering of the creme de la creme of the society on Sunday at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos when star actress, Halima Abubakar premiered her much anticipated movie, Mistresses.

The event saw people from far and wide coming together to celebrate the United Nations Ambassador for Peace and multiple award winning actress who has for more than a decade featured in other people’s movies but has now joined the league of movie makers.

Guests at the event were treated to special musical performances by Jaywon, Oyinkansola, Splash, Yung Issy and Ozzy Bosco with Dee Jay Puff Lala churning out the best of tunes.

The evening also afforded the Kogi state-born Halima the opportunity to talk about her foundation, her charity projects as well as other areas where she has been able to put smiles on the faces of people; cutting across the rich and the less privileged in the society.

The list of celebrities in attendance included the publisher of Ovation International Magazine, Basorun Dele Momodu, President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Innocent Idibia aka Tuface and wife Annie, Keffy and her husband, Teddy Esosa aka Fresh Prince, Hakeem Rahman, Oge Okoye, Bob Micheal, Susan Peters, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Emem Isong, Doris Simon and Grace Amah.

Tony Payne was the cynosure of all eyes that day as she rendered a good account of her eloquence with her delivery as the MC while Danny B kept belting out his rib-cracking jokes.

There was also a showcase of style and class as Azam and Alabi couture paraded their latest outfits in the fashion show segment.

Featuring actresses, Halima Abubakar, Yvone Nelson, Mary Uranta, Moyo Lawal, Ruth Kadiri, Sylvia Nduka, alongside other talented actors,  Mistresses which has been officially released for public viewing will hit cinemas across the world in a couple of weeks and subsequently be made available for home viewing.
