Wrestling: Mighty Jick Eyes Laurels At World Stage

To Peter Ejike Mbadinuju a.k.a Mighty Jick, winning a world title belt  remains an ultimate ambition in his professional career.

Mighty Jick, who started wrestling since 2008 and holds the Global Wrestling Academy light heavyweight belt, said he has lined up series of programme that will see him go to the USA to expose to more modern training in the sport after which he plans to have a shot at a world title fight.

Mighty Jick, who is training under legendary Vincent Dimanozie (Iron Bone), the Technical Adviser of Nigerian Wrestling Federation (NWF), noted that Nigeria has good and talented wrestlers, but the hostile environment has prevented them from rising to the stardom in their trade.

“It is my wish to have a shot at a world title championship and I believe if this opportunity comes my way it would be a blessing to realise my dream of becoming a world champion in professional wrestling. It is so sad that despite the abundant of talents in the country, we still find it very hard to get the country’s name written in gold on the world map of the game,” said Mighty Jick, who hails from Ihiala local government area of Anambra State.
