Buruj Football Academy will confront Nigeria National League, NNL team, Division One team, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM in a friendly game slated for next Wednesday at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
The match is expected to be a tough match for Buruj who lost 1-3 to Handsworth Football Club of Sango Otta in a friendly match played a week ago at the Agidigbin Secondary School, Ikeja.
Buruj, who are preparing for the Lagos State Challenge Cup, defeated Soccer Talent 2-1 in another friendly match played last Saturday at the Ijebu-Ode Stadium.
Thinking among the fans of Buruj was that the victory over Soccer Talent would motivate the team to beat MFM. The MFM are currently preparing for their home match against Rising Stars of Akure this Saturday in Week 12 match of the NNL.
Chief Coach of Buruj, Moruf Faka said the friendly tie will bring the best out of his players ahead of Lagos FA Cup.
“We are planning to upset MFM. I’m happy with our result against Soccer Talent. So I am expecting my players to raise their game against MFM on Wednesday,” he said.
Chairman of the club, Waheed Salaudeen said the friendly match will be a tough one . He charged his players to remain focus throughout the game.
