Mixed reactions have continued to trail the 15-man list released by Coach Stephen Keshi for this month’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.

Former skipper of the Eagles, Nwankwo Kanu and ex-defender, Garba Lawal have different views on the invited players.

Nwankwo believes that the invited professional players are capable enough to deliver, and that there is no need to extend invitation to too many players. But Lawal was of a contrary opinion.

Lawal wants Keshi to invite Osaze Odemwingie and other players excluded from the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The list of foreign-based players invited by Keshi include: Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Israel); Austin Ejide (Hapoel Be’er Sheva, Israel).
