Warri Wolves’ striker, Azuka Ebinum is sad that he would be missing his club’s first game of 2012/20 Gombe United defender Usmanu Shehu has told futaa.com his team’s mission in Ibadan this weekend is to shock Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium in one of the Week 1 fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
Shehu, who reckons that Desert Scorpions have been unbeaten in their last two visits to Ibadan, said they could go one step further to record a famous win over the Oluyole Warriors.
“I am happy we are starting the season in a place like Ibadan where we have not lost in our last two visits,” the defender said.
“By God’s grace we will be leaving Gombe by Friday (today) to arrive Ibadan on Saturday and the only thing on our mind is to keep our unbeaten run intact or even improve by beating Shooting Stars at home,” he said.
