Basking in the euphoria of their away victory over Wikki Tourist of Bauchi in Week One tie of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL last weekend, Kano Pillars’ head coach, Baba Ganaru says his team are targtting goal rain against CAF Champions League foes, AC Leopards tomorrow.

The Kano club, who are the current Nigerian champions, began the defence of their title last Sunday in Bauchi beating their hosts, Wikki Tourists 1-0.

“Our spirit is high now I must tell you as we want our winning momentum to continue against them (AC Leopards) on Saturday at home.

“The away victory we got in Bauchi will also boost our morale to face our foes from Congo,” said Ganaru ahead of the crucial match against CAF Confederation Cup champions at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofarmata, Kano

The former El-Kanemi Warriors’ manager is, however, unperturbed with the current status of their foes.

“We have no business with their status as the Confederation Cup champions, all we need is to score as many goals for us to take the return leg beyond them,” he told supersport.com.
