Base2, a music group comprising the duo of Ozorh Lois and Peter Naomy, has hit the airwaves with two singles, Ariya and Whine It Down, which features LKT.

The duo, both final year Law students of Houdegbe North American University, Republic of Benin, started their musical career three years ago.
Base2, according to Naomy, intends to use its music to pass the message of love and unity among youths. “It hasn’t been easy as Law students doing music, but we have been studying very hard and at the same time coping with our music career.”

Ngozi Nwosu’s Surgery Successful
Actress Ngozi Nwosu, who was flown to the United Kingdom few weeks ago, has undergone a successful surgery.
The Fuji House of Commotion actress, who is still being monitored by doctors in the UK, is expected to be back in Nigeria in few weeks. She is said to be getting stronger.

Nwosu, who needed N5 million to travel for the surgery, got N1 million from Who Deserves To Be A Millionaire (WDTBAM), a TV programme produced by Ultima Limited while the governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, donated the remaining fund.
Nwosu, who looked pale and shrink before the surgery, is now getting her groove back gradually. She has added some weight.
Her colleagues in the movie industry are already planning to hold a special thanksgiving service and welcome back party for the respected actress.

Jedi In ‘One Man Stand’

Comedian Jedi is set for the maiden edition of his comedy show, Jedi Live on Stage in One Man Stand. The show, according to Jedi, will be different from other comedy shows, as it is designed to showcase his other side and as a way of thanking his fans.
One Man Stand is a family show for this Easter season and will deliver five hours of jokes devoid of vulgarity. Slated for 29 March at the MUSON Centre, Lagos, the event will feature performances by Bovi, Igos, Omo Baba No.1, Princess, Bash and Xplicit Dancers.
