AGWO Boss Wants Fan Clubs For African Bodies

President of All Africa Global-World Powerlifting & Body Building Organisation, AGWO, Moses Olakunle Akinsehinwa has called on all the affiliated bodies to AGWO to set up fan clubs in their respective countries.

Akinsehinwa, who is also the founder/president of  Nigeria International Powerlifting Association, NIPA, said setting up of fan clubs become necessary in order to bring powerlifting and bodybuilding sports to the people at the grassroots across African countries.

He said that he wants a situation where powerlifting and body building tournaments would command a huge fans based like in football.

African powerlifting bodies which are currently associate of AGWO include Nigerian International Powerlifting Association, South Africa Powerlifting Congress Organization, United Namibia Powerlifting Organization, Congress of Angola Powerlifting Association, Zambia State Union of Amalgamated Powerlifters, Cameroonian International Bodybuilding and Powerlifting Congress, Gambia Professional Powerlifters Organization, Algeria Powerlifting and Strongmen Association and Egyptian International Powerlifting Organization Congress.

Others are Professional and Amateur Powerlifting Organization Congress Tunisia, Togo Powerlifting Developmental Association, Senegalese Bodybuilding and Powerlifting Progressive Organization, Kenya Powerlifting Intersports Related Congress and Gabon Powerlifting and Bodybuilding Mission Organization.
