Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets maul Ghana’s Starlets
It was goal rain as Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets defeated the Black Starlets of Ghana in a one sided game that ended 6-1 in their first group match of the African U-17 Junior Championship in Morocco Sunday night.
Isaac Success scored four goals to see the Golden Eaglets claimed the maximum points at stake.

Success put Nigeria ahead with just ten minutes into the game, and compatriot Bernard Bulbwa made it two in the 30th minutes to put Nigeria two goals up.
Success scored his second on the night with five minutes to the break, as Eaglets take a 3-0 lead to the dressing room.
After the interval, Ghana played with less motivation, as the result seem impossible to overturn, and it was the leading team that scored again, with Success grabbing his hat-trick in the 63rd minute.
An Eaglet was felled inside the 18 yard box, and Success stepped up to take and convert the penalty kick in the 68th minute, after Ghana’s Yeboah had pulled one back two minutes earlier.
The coach Manu Garba handled side now top Group B after the other game played early on between Congo and Cote d’Ivoire ended in a 1-1 draw.
