2013 Afrobasket: D’Tigers End Camping In Abuja

Nigeria’s national basketball team, the D’Tigers, will today bring to an end their 4-day camping for the upcoming 2013 Afrobasket holding in August in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

The coach Ayo Bakare led team had on 27 May began their first phase of camping of 12 home-based players at the National Stadium in Abuja.

P.M.NEWS Sports gathered that three out of the 12 players in camp would be selected to join their foreign-based counterparts in the second phase of camping for the biennial championship.

All the players have been lodged at the Parkview Hotel at Wuse Zone 1 in Abuja.

Some of the players invited for camping from the Savannah and Atlantic conferences include, Ohiero Michael of Mark Mentors, Abubakar Usman of Kano Pillars, Abduwahab Yahaya of Mark Mentors, Balogun Kayode of Islanders, Mohammed Baba Shehu of Niger Potters and Azuoma Dike of Dodan Warriors.
