The Final-8 of the Zenith Women’s Basketball League, will dunk off on 6 June at the indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos.
After the two phases of competitions, which were held in Abuja and Asaba, eight teams emerged from both zones to fight it out at the final stage of the league in Lagos for the title.
Defending champions First Deepwater Club of Lagos, Sunshine Angels Club of Akure, Nigeria Customs and the FCT Angels are the first four teams, while First Bank Club of Lagos, Dolphins of Port Harcourt, debutants IGP Queens of Lagos and Plateau Rocks completes the play-off roaster.
All the teams are expected to be in Lagos before 6 June. They are scheduled to hold a briefing the next day before the competition dunks off proper on 8 June and climaxes on 16 June.
