I’ll Miss Rolling Dollar —Young Wife

The youngest wife of the late Juju music icon, Fatai Rolling Dollar, Zainab says she would really miss her husband.

The widow spoke with P.M.NEWS at the reception shortly after her late husband was buried at his house in Ikorodu, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, on Thursday.

After the Islamic burial rites were performed, family members and fans of the late musician retired to his residence at Oko Oba Millennium Estate for a reception.

At the reception, Zainab told P.M.NEWS  that the late musician was not only loving but also took good care of his wives and children.

“I will miss him so much because he took good care of me and the children. Now, I’m alone with this huge burden,” she lamented.

Speaking further about the kind of person her late husband was, Zainab said he loved and respected all and sundry.

According to her, the late Rolling Dollar was a cheerful giver who was always ready to make people happy.

“He can’t bear to see people unhappy and he was always ready to make people happy,” she said.

“He loved me and I equally loved him. We ate and slept together and he couldn’t bear to see either me or any of the children looking unhappy,” she narrated.

Zainab described the late Rolling Dollar as a firm believer in Almighty Allah.

“He did not stress himself unnecessarily on issues. He would always say Allah will take control. He never joked with his five daily prayer sessions and he observed them timely and promptly.”
