Shola Sekere Unveils Band, Album

Oluwashola Akinbobola a.k.a Shola Sekere will tomorrow, Saturday, 6 July, inaugurate her band, Happy Time Juju Band. The budding female Juju gospel musician will also unveil her debut album.

Shola Shekere told P.M.NEWS Entertainment Cafe that she produced the album to appreciate her fans that have greatly supported her band in various ways.

Ondo-born Shola Sekere noted that Prophet Olujimi Olaosebikan, Iya Adura Olajonrin, Most Apostle Iyiola Aladewura among others have always been the pillars of her music career. She added that she looks up to Yinka Ayefele and Wasiu Alabi Pasuma as role models.

Expected dignitaries at the official presentations include Baba Aladura Afatewogbore, High Chief Oyewole, the Baale of Odan land, Dagunro Asorofijalo, Insp. S.O.J Falana, Akeem Ajagun and wife and others. While guest artistes billed to perform at the event which holds at Chesterfield Inn, in Baba’jesha, Aboru are Sunday Goaty, Debby Abimbola, Ogo Emi and Aremolekun Opa.
