They allegedly abducted little Destiny Osanebi, a nephew of Friday Osanebi, a member of Delta State House of Assembly, at about 9.30 pm on 16 July, at the family residence in Ashaka, Ndokwa East Local Government Area.

The lad spent three days in the custody of the kidnappers who negotiated a N10 million ransom with the distraught family.

The Public Relations Officer of Delta State Police Command, ASP Lucky Uyabeme, confirmed that the victim was released unhurt without ransom from his abductors following sustained heat mounted by the police.

Uyabame said the police was in hot chase of two other members of the gang now on the run, adding that two single barrel guns were recovered from the suspected kidnappers.
