CHAN 2014: Kpakor Backs Long Camping For Eagles
Ex-international, Moses Kpakor, has backed the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to commence early camping for the January 2014 African Nations Championship, CHAN.
The home-based Eagles on Saturday survived a first half scare to qualify for the tourney holding in South Africa next year and the former BCC Lions of Gboko player believes early preparations would go a long way in helping the team to perform well in the championship.
”It’s a good idea to begin early preparation for the CHAN 2014 and I’m very glad with the position of the NFF on this that they would commence early preparation for the home-based Eagles I think it is a step in the right direction and it would help them to go far at the tournament,” he said.
NFF President, Aminu Maigari; had assured that the federation would encourage the team to do well and replicate the senior team’s feat of winning the last Nations Cup, as Nigerians would be happy if the home-based team win the 2014 CHAN at first appearance.
