Fola Adeola’s posters flood Abeokuta

If posters presence was an indicator, more aspirants are getting ready to compete with Governor Ibikunle Amosun for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Party in Ogun state for the 2015 elections.

The latest aspirant is Mr. Fola Adeola, the former Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and the running mate of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in the 2011 Presidential election under the platform of the defunct ACN.

Posters and banners of the former banker were ubiquitous in Abeokuta today, proclaiming his interest in the post.

Some of the campaign posters and banners were sighted at various strategic locations, including Itoku, Isale Igbein, Ijaiye, Obantoko,Ake, Totoro, Iyana Mortuary and Lafenwa areas of Abeokuta.

The banners bore APC logo, party slogan and the inscription: “Change 2015. Fola Adeola for Governor.”

Fola Adeola’s candidacy is being linked with the powerful group, said to be loyal to the former governor Aremo Olusegun Osoba.
