As the 10th season of Gulder Ultimate Search hots up, the registration for participation will end today, 23 August. The exercise commenced on 17 July.
Speaking on the registration process, Emmanuel Agu, Marketing Manager – Gulder, Legend and Life, Nigerian Breweries Plc., said the registration is free, and interested individuals still have till the end of Friday, to register for participation.
He expressed optimism that a large number of Nigerians would register to participate this year.
“In 2012, over 30,000 individuals registered to participate in GUS9. This represented the highest number of individuals that have indicated their interest to participate in Gulder Ultimate Search since the programme commenced in 2004. The large number of Nigerians that have indicated interest in participating is evidence of the popularity of the programme,” Agu noted.
The next phase of the Search is the regional selection stage that will be held in Owerri, Benin and Lagos.
GUS was first staged on Lagos Island in 2004. This year’s edition is themed ‘the 10th Symbol’, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Search. It will be held in Usaka, Obot Akara Local Government, Akwa Ibom State.
