Malawi Tie: Keshi Gives Tuesday Deadline To Eagles

Ahead of 2014 World Cup Qualifier between Nigeria and Malawi, the Super Eagles’ gaffer, Super Eagles  has said that all the invited players for the cracker must report in Calabar, venue of the match, latest Tuesday 3 September reports Bamidele Olowosagba.

Keshi, who spoke this morning on a radio programme monitored in Lagos, said only a few of the players are expected on Monday, as those who played for their clubs at the weekend are expected to join the home based stars by Tuesday evening.

“We expect the lads based here to arrive on Monday with only few foreign based players. Others will join us on Tuesday because of their connecting flights,” he said.

Keshi also took time off to congratulate Ike Uche and Ahmed Musa for scoring for their club sides at the weekend.

Uche scored the third goal for Villareal in their 3-0 victory against Osasuna in La Liga while Musa scored the winning goal for CSKA Moscow in their 2-1 win against Amkar Perm on Friday night in the Russian league.
