A crisis between clearing and forwarding agents and men of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, left NAHCO shed shut on Wednesday, sources said.

NAHCO shed is located at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, and is used to store tonnes of goods.

It was not clear what led to the crisis, but an official at NAHCO said it was not between NAHCO and clearing agents but between agents and Customs.

Plans by the aviation ministry to relocate clearing agents from the Nigeria Aviation Cargo Handling Company, Limited, NAHCO, shed has led to several clashes in recent times.
