Glo Premier League: Only Miracle Can Save 3SC —Asuquo

Philip Asuquo has told supersport.com that he is confident a miracle can help 3SC beat the drop in this season’s Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, campaign.

The 3SC midfielder who still believes that the Ibadan club can keep their NPFL place at the end of the season, insisted that it would demand a lot of good fortune and hard work from the team’s playing personnel.

“We started the season well and we had high hopes of doing very well than previous seasons. Unfortunately, it hasn’t turned out that way for us. But we still have a chance to fight and remain in the league even though we have just three games to go.

“The three games are definitely going to be difficult but as professionals we have to pick ourselves up and continue to fight for survival as this is a big club. But I know it will be tough and apart from our hard work we will need a miracle to turn around things,” said the former Crown FC playmaker.

The Oluyole Warriors occupy bottom spot of the NPFL log and will play the first of their last three games at Nembe City on 12 October.
