President Jonathan Sacks Aide

President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday terminated the appointment of Mrs. Aisha Umar as his Special Assistant on Social Development.

The termination of the appointment of the aide was announced in a statement issued by Sam Nwaobasi, the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.

No explanation was given in the statement for the termination of the appointment.

The statement indicated that the termination of Umar’s appointment was with effect from 25 November 2013.
