Pop star, Burna Boy, was at his best as he thrilled guests to some of his latest hits on Wednesday night at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos as Fayrouz hosts an exclusive event tagged Party for The Originals.
The artiste alongside tattoo-faced DJ Sose had the audience dancing all night as new Fayrouz platform, heralding from the ‘Be Original’ campaign, celebrated the originality of Nigerian fashion and style.
The hugely anticipated event had some of Nigeria’s biggest designers, artistes and fashionistas in attendance.
Top fashion designers like Mai Atafo, Kinabuti, April By Kunbi, The Okunoren Twins, and Gozel Green, had most of their original collections on the runway.
Guests were given the opportunity to bid for their stylish outfits in an auction, which took place via Fayrouz tweeter account, @fayrouznigeria.
Other exciting activities at the Party for The Originals include, Fayrouz cocktails, lyrical dancing, fashion exhibitions and a host of other exciting activities.
The event, was hosted by popular OAP and BBA host, IK Osakioduwa, with ace compere Tee A, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Uti Nwachukwu and Osas Ighodaro acted as celebrity scouts. They moved within the audience to select a number of fashionable guests who took part in the ‘most original ensemble’ of the night.
Party for the Originals is the launch of a new platform where students can compete as an expressive group to create exceptional style exhibiting originality through various arts like fashion design, accessory making, modelling, photography, makeup and hairstyling among other arts.
