Indian High Commission To Hold Exhibition

The High Commission of India will hold a 3-day Indian Products and Services Exhibition (IPASE-4) on January 16-18, 2014.

The event will taplce from 10:00 am – 4pm at 8A, Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This would be the fourth edition of this annual event after success of three editions. At least 25 local businesses engaged in Indian products and services in Nigeria will be displaying them at IPASE-4.

The product range is likely to include automobiles, fans,  pumps, pharmaceuticals,herbal medicines, health care products,natural gas-based power generation equipment, dry-lace, voile and embroidery materials, toiletries & cosmetics, imitation jewellery, shoes and fabrics, electrical equipment, machinery etc.

Services sector would showcase telecommunication, insurance products, IT training and software solutions, tele-medicine networking, health care, security solutions etc. Some stalls would also offer Indian food – a melange of both product and service!

IPASE-4 is part of the High Commission’s ongoing efforts to promote visibility of Indian products and services in Nigeria and encourage concerned Nigerian stakeholders, mostly SMEs. Such endeavours have enabled  Nigeria’s bilateral trade to reach a record $17.3 billion and $16.6 billion during Indian financial years ending on March 31, 2012 and March 31, 2013 respectively.

Organisers have urged aAll Indian and Nigerian businessmen and other stakeholders to visit IPASE-4 to acquaint themselves with Indian products and services that have enjoyed Nigerian consumers’ longstanding trust and patronage.
