Golf: Gallacher wins Dubai Desert Classic

Stephen Gallacher won the $2.5million (1.85million euros) Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday.
Closing with a 72, for a 16-under total the 39-year-old Scot finished one shot clear of Argentina’s Emiliano Grillo, who had a 66.
Gallacher became the first man to successfully defend the Desert Classic on what was the tournament’s 25th anniversary.
