Big Brother Africa star and actor, Uti Nwachukwu, has explained the close relationship between him and fast-rising young actor, Alex Ekubo.
Reacting as a guest on Channels TV’s Rubbin Minds, to the rumour doing the rounds concerning the two of them, Uti said he was only helping to create visibility for the talented young actor; which makes both appear mostly at events together.
“This is very ridiculous, but of course it didn’t affect our relationship. In Nigeria, a lot of people feel that you cannot give someone so much without getting something back in return; which is most likely sex,” he said.
On how they both react to the speculations each time they read of such, Uti added: “We just sit back and laugh over it because I know my friend as someone who likes women very well and myself as a very disciplined man but also love women.”
The AfricaMagic’ Jara co-host said on his love life, he is seeing someone but they are yet to give their relationship “a name yet.”
