Sanusi: does a character portrait of Jonathan

Security aides attached to the suspended Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, have been withdrawn.

P.M.NEWS can authoritatively disclose that the State Security Service (SSS) personnel attached to the embattled former CBN governor have been withdrawn on the orders of the Presidency.

A close aide of Sanusi who confirmed this, said the officials were withdrawn Monday.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday during his media chat declared that Sanusi remained the CBN governor until the conclusion of investigation into allegations of financial recklessness levelled against him.

The president also told his viewers and listeners that he is constitutionally empowered to suspend the CBN governor.

He immediately returned home and was quizzed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, where his travel documents were seized by officials of SSS.
