Award-winning music producer/singer, Ayo Faboro, popularly known as Dr Frabz, has been announced as the new music director for the fourth season of music reality show, Nigerian Idol.
This was made known as the competition gets set for the Top 30 rounds.
“I expect that this season we will be able to help the best of the contestants to shine,” said Dr. Frabz, who started his own music production company called N’sayne Entertainment and has produced hit songs like Chuddy K’s Slow Slow, Shank’s Too late and Weird MC’s Riranwo among others.
Dr. Frabz will also likely direct Adebola Adeyoye, popularly known as VERA (Voice Every Race Accepts), a United Kingdom-based Nigerian make-up artiste, who returned home for an opportunity to be the Voice of Tomorrow at the Lagos auditions of the show.
“I have studied a lot of people in the industry like Tiwa Savage and Omawumi, and I believe I have what it takes to get to where they are today,” said a confident Vera.
Singing Big White Room by Jesse J, Vera stole the hearts of the judges with her version of the song.
“I am just going to affirm that you have been the best voice here today and give you a golden ticket,” said an impressed Dede.
