Seventeen of Nigeria’s biggest artistes have been officially unveiled as the line up for this year’s Star Music Trek.
The 10-city 10-week music concert will have 2Face Idibia leading the list of performers that will deliver lots of music, and surprises between 29 March and 31 May.
Others are Wizkid, M.I, Davido, Wande Coal, Sound Sultan, Timaya, Mr Raw, Phyno, May D, Olamide, KCee, Sean Tizzle, Naeto C, Dr. Sid, Alabi Pasuma, making his debut on The Trek and Tiwa Savage, returning as the only female artiste on The Trek.
They were revealed to an exclusive audience comprising celebrities, members of the press and officials of the brand at a press conference, held at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
“We’re just as eager as our teeming fans as we commence Star Music Trek 2014. As usual, we’ll be taking the brightest and best of Nigerian music and artistes all across the country and can assure our fans that this year’s Trek will be filled with spectacular surprises,” said Edem Vindah, Corporate Media and Brand PR Manager, Nigerian Breweries plc.
The Trek 2014 will be touring 10 cities.
Hosts for this 13th edition of The Trek are Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, DO2TUN of Cool FM and Laff Up. DJ Neptune, DJ Switch and DJ Blaise are official DJs for The Trek.
