Thirteen hospitals in Abuja treating 126 injured victims of the twin bombing at a bus terminus in Nyanya, Abuja on Monday are in search of generous blood donors.

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Health, Dr Khaliru Alhassan, appealed to Nigerians to donate blood to the victims, saying blood shortage was the greatest challenge being faced in treating them.

He spoke after the Federal Executive Council meeting today.

Alhassan said 75 people were killed and 126 with varying degree of injuries were receiving treatment in 13 health facilities within the FCT.
