Ghana’s national football coach, Kwesi Appiah, on Monday in Accra announced a 26-man squad for the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.

Appiah told a news conference that the list would be pruned to 23 after the friendly match with Holland on 31 May.

The Black Stars are in Group G at the World Cup, alongside former winners Germany, Portugal and the United States.

Ghana’s opening game will be against the US in Natal on 16 June.
