I didn’t borrow for projects in Jigawa – Gov. Lamido
Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa said on Wednesday that he did not borrow money from any bank or organisation to execute projects in the state.
Lamido disclosed this at a news conference in Dutse as part of activities to mark Democracy Day in the state.
He said that his administration did not borrowed a kobo from anywhere and promised that he would not borrow to complete the ongoing projects.

The governor promised to complete the Dutse International Airport, Sintilmawa-Dutse Water Works and the rehabilitation of the Hadejia River Valley before the end of his tenure.
He said the projects, when completed, would improve the socio-economic well-being of the people.
